Lagos Water Corporation

Smart Water Metering Programme

Across multiple contract packages, Flant Automations served as a key technical contractor on one of Lagos State's largest smart water metering deployments — configuring, installing and commissioning over 15,900 domestic and bulk prepaid ultrasonic meters across multiple distribution zones, in collaboration with primary contractors Idmon Engineering, ThomasChase Nigeria Ltd and Oceanic Construction Ltd. The programme demonstrated the company's ability to mobilise and sustain large-scale field operations in an urban utility environment, manage quality assurance across thousands of metering units, and deliver against demanding schedules on concurrent contract packages.

Maton Engineering

115KW Solar Power System

This landmark engagement encompassed full procurement and EPC installation of a 115KW solar photovoltaic power system, spanning the complete solar project cycle — equipment specification and procurement, structural installation, electrical integration, inverter commissioning and system performance testing. Successful delivery established Flant Automations as a credible solar EPC contractor capable of executing utility-scale renewable energy installations.

Chevron Nigeria Limited

Escravos Runway Lighting System

Delivered with Onos Technical Services, this contract covered the design, supply and installation of a runway lighting system for the Escravos airstrip, an airfield serving one of Chevron's most significant oil and gas production facilities. Airfield lighting is safety-critical infrastructure subject to stringent technical standards and zero-tolerance quality requirements; successful execution within Chevron's demanding HSE environment evidences the company's capability on high-consequence systems.

Escravos Gas Project (EGP-3) E&I Inspection

Over a 26-month engagement, Flant Automations provided electrical and instrumentation inspection services across construction of the Escravos Gas Project Phase 3 — one of Nigeria's largest onshore gas processing developments. Scope covered inspection and verification of cable installation, terminations, earthing and bonding, instrument hook-ups, loop integrity and cable-pulling records against project specifications and international codes. The assignment required sustained technical presence in a major-project construction environment and evidences the company's competence in E&I quality surveillance on high-value gas infrastructure.

Onos Technical / Chevron Nigeria

Multi-Platform Intrusion Alarm & Detection Systems

Flant Automations procured and installed intrusion alarm and detection systems across five Chevron production platforms — Olero Creek, Dibi, Utonana, Makaraba and Opuekeba. Delivery encompassed field device selection, panel configuration, cabling in classified areas, sensor commissioning and integration to platform control rooms, executed under offshore permit-to-work discipline. Concurrent multi-location execution on live production facilities demonstrates the company's ability to deliver instrumentation and security systems without disrupting operations.

WoPat Nigeria Limited

Dibi Platform Integrity, Corrosion & Leak Detection System

This engagement delivered an integrity monitoring, corrosion and leak detection system for the Dibi production platform. Scope spanned sensor and transmitter specification, field instrumentation installation, signal wiring and loop testing, and configuration of monitoring and alarm logic for continuous condition surveillance. The project sits squarely in the company's instrumentation and controls heritage — safety-critical monitoring on an offshore asset where instrument reliability directly underpins asset integrity.

CNL Clinic Fire Alarm & UPS Power Systems

Two related packages covered procurement and installation of an addressable fire alarm and detection system for the Chevron Nigeria Limited clinic, and the supply and installation of two 150KW uninterruptible power supply systems. Work included detector and panel layout, field cabling, loop commissioning and functional testing for the fire system, and switchgear interfacing, battery bank installation and load-transfer testing for the UPS scope — life-safety and critical-power systems delivered to Chevron's engineering and HSE standards.

Idmon Engineering

Electromagnetic Flow Metering & Waterworks Instrumentation

Flant Automations procured and installed full-profile insertion electromagnetic flow meters on live trunk mains, including hot-tap sensor insertion under pressure, converter mounting, signal cabling and calibration verification. The scope extended to control and instrumentation works on waterworks pumping stations — motorised valve actuation, pumpset controls and field signal integration — establishing the company's flow-measurement and process instrumentation capability in the utilities sector.
